Harmon Kardon One Bluetooth Speaker

Harmon Kardon One Bluetooth Speaker

A quick review on the HK One bluetooth speaker. This little beast puts out some of the best sound out of the 3 bluetooth speakers that we’ve tried. This includes a Bose bluetooth speaker and the Rocketfish. While the Rockfish is a massive speaker in size, the Harmon Kardon keeps up with it on layered sounds and volume. The HK also connects well and painlessly which can’t be said for some bluetooth speakers. It has a relatively small price tag while punching out the music for the price.

Google has tweaked its logo

Google has tweaked its logo

We find this pretty interesting and get geeked by very small tweaks to logos, specifically Google’s new type set which was created by Google. It’s called Pro Sans from the previous font used which was serif font. We thinks it looks awful similiar to Code Pro Black font but it is indeed Pro Sans created by Google. Since 1999 they have made subtle changes to their wordmark logo which included dropping the drop shadows and letter spacing.

The greater update, however, is that Google’s logo is no longer a static wordmark. Like many brands, they’ve shifted from a paper-first, static logo to a dynamic, animated figure that’s only possible on screens. When Google is called to action, the letters of “Google” transform into a series of four dots that morph and orbit with life.

Just some interesting info for you font geeks out there.
